I purchased these AG slim straights and I am wondering what the thinking is about hemming them. They are probably 3 inches too long. Is the roll ok, or should I hack some off to make it less bulky? (I didn't spend that much time rolling them here.) I want the most versatility for different shoes/boots...which is why these are first straight legs I've purchased in years. Internet browsing suggest straight legs should fall below the ankle bone...is this current thinking? That would really only work with flats.

If I hack them, should I bother keeping the original hem? I can do this myself, but sometimes the frayed attached part gets messy and im unsure about rolling them (as an option) with that reattached original hem.

Wearing them with the Pikolinos from NAS.
