Help w/Strapless Bra & Sheer Black Hose

Well, I thought it would be easy to find a black strapless bra but it's not. I've tried several and they are either too small or too big. Do you have any suggestions for a 34B without push up?

I'm also looking for the sheerest of sheer black hose with control top! I have the black hose by Donna Karan but I'd like something even more sheer, if possible.

I greatly appreciate your suggestions!

Have you tried victoria's secret for bras? I have a small bust and find there are a lot of nice-fitting options at the small end without too much padding.

The Simone Perele #12J300 is the best strapless bra I've ever found. Smooth with a subtle prettiness, fits really well, no push up and doesn't move through wear. It comes with straps too, so you have that option if desired. Just be sure the band is nice and firm if you do choose this one. Certainly not cheap, but well worth the money and since a strapless bra is only an occasional piece, it will last well if you hand wash it and store it properly.

When I worked I wore Hanes Silk Reflections control top. Macy's carries it in various types. They might be sheer enough for you.

Angie, I looked at that bra but it starts at C cup and I need B cup. I did decide on a dress and will post an update soon.

You really do not need a black bra. Nude for your skin is the best option under any color. That might expand your options.

Colette, were you fitted for a strapless bra at Nordies? The cups can be VERY small despite the letter on a small width. I wear a 28 or 30D in Simone Perele (very small cups), and do not have a large bust at all.

Angie, I wasn't fitted at Nordstrom, I've been fitted elsewhere, but I am going back and will try that Simone Perele, it seems they have it in stock in a store near me.

retailgirl, I do have a nude strapless bra as a fallback, but the color doesn't match my skin very well and I don't prefer the way it stands out if I move and sliver of my bra is visible. If I find a bra that fits well and is only available in a nude that matches my skin better I will consider it.

JAileen, I also wore Hanes Silk Refelections way back when I worked in an office and the dress code was still business and not casual. I used to buy them by the dozen.
