In the course of my job I often do reporting on a story that winds up being reproduced for our video service, but rarely do I get involved in the shoot itself. Tomorrow night is an exception. I found a group that's perfect for a multi -platform package we're working on, and I'm part of the team heading out to interview them and capture them on film. Part of the project involves capturing the extremely laid -back vibe of the situation. Basically it's an group of a hundred or so propose people who gather at a bar every week to teach other all sorts of foreign languages. So while I'll be going in my capacity as a professional journalist, I want to look appropriate for the casual setting in order to put my interview subjects at ease. I also want to be camera ready just in case they keep me in the footage.
So... Here's the outfit I'm thinking of: black cigarette pants tucked into black button booties, red and black tunic -length top, knotted silver necklace, snakeskin bag. My charcoal tweed cake (newly altered along with this top to reflect my new size ) will he ideal as outerwear. My main question is whether or not I should wear this ensemble with a belt. I'm obviously going for a look that's modern, trendy and as slimming as it's possible to get on my figure.
The third pig I'm posting here is just a handbag that I found in my closet. I'm running it by you now simply because it's supposedly in that oh so seasonal burgundy shade. Does it get general ylf approval or should I pass it on?
Your help is always so much appreciated, ladies; thank you so much as always.
