Help with styling white boots!

Hey everyone!
I just got these cute white boots but am struggling with how to wear them. Originally, I was thinking about pairing these with light colored skinny jeans and a white top - but when I compiled the outfit together I didn't love the way it looked.

For reference, I am 5'4".

YLF is the place for white boot advice! Angie got me in a pair when I’d always been against white shoes

I’m wondering if the thing about the outfit was lack of texture... like perhaps a white or light colour sweater would do the trick...

Oops - the boots sold out and the photo is down; could you snap one and post?

Are they short booties? When I had short white booties, I wore them most with a plain black silk shirtdress and nude hose or with cropped wide leg pants/jeans. If the white footwear seems random and that bothers you, add a white shirt or other white piece on top to bookend.

I have been wearing my white boots at least once a week. Examples: with houndstooth slim pants and a cadet blue low hip sweater, with lilac velvet cropped pants and a black and white striped sweater, with snake print pants and a red sweater. I have worn them in warmer weather with an Anthro snake print baby doll dress and with a Boden blue and white "mod" dress.

I don't like them with a very dark pant or tights (only lighter jeans, for example), and I also thought they looked too chopped off with a skirt and top. Key for me is a 2/3 silhouette somewhere in the outfit - either pants or a dress. And I don't like too much white - it works on others but on me it feels a little Mr. Stay-Puft.

@rachylou - I paired it with a white sweater and skinny jeans tucked in. The issue I had - it did not look great with jeans tucked in. Perhaps my petite figure? So next I was thinking maybe crop jeans or even a flowy khaki or brown skirt.

@April - see above link. Yes! I'm thinking of now trying it out with cropped wide leg jeans and a white shirt. If not that then maybe a dress. I don't wear a lot of dresses or skirts normally so this was part of the initial challenge.

@Roberta - This is interesting I need to look into the 2/3 silhouette.
You raise a good point about the top being too chopped off for a skirt or dress. I can play around with some textured pants as you suggested. I'm just not sure if this will work with my petite figure for now.

@kkards - I tried it out with black pants and white top...a little better probably because the tight black pants fit much nicer, however, I didn't love the look. I think that would work better with the white boot/black laces posted above, but for the neutral overtones/ gold studs on this one ..meh. Maybe I'll try neutral leggings?

Hmm. Yes. I can see how that would be tricky. Jeggings would maybe look better than actual jeans. Or slouchier, shorter pants... I’m thinking the balloon style Angie mentioned, with cuffs rolled. But that might be too slouchy for your style. Flared crops?

I have a pair of creamy beige lace up platform wedge boots that I wear with joggers or jeans. I'm still trying to figure out my ultra white rag & bone ankle boots, if it will ever quit raining enough that I'm not afraid to wear them (we got some black a$$ mud here where I've parked the RV.
