Help with styling these BR pants

I think that you will find the pin stripe very versatile and fun. I used to have a pair from Express and miss them. I treated them like a navy neutral. Try a graphic tee and Jean jacket or blazer, drapey top, and oversized sweater. I wore them mostly with ballet flats but think you could wear sneakers, heels, booties or loafers or oxfords too.

Ooh, my all-time favourite pants were a slim navy pinstripe pair back around 2000. I see them as a menswear false plain type item, so basically a neutral navy as Joy said A crisp white button down and oxfords would play up the menswear angle. The same top with pointy-toed red shoes if you have some (red sneakers for a casual version?). I always enjoy polka dots with stripes, so a blouse in dots on a medium or large scale. A floral print could be fun! I'm seeing some that incorporate navy with lighter spring colours. A pretty, feminine, blush blouse. You have a lot of options here

Ooh. great pants.
I own a pair of pin stripes and was wondering if the navy poppy button down floral blouse from Ann Taylor (40% off today) would work with it. I spied it in the mall yesterday and it is very cute, although I didn't go in and really give it a once over. It kind of depends on how bright the pinstripe is....
AT also has a few smaller pattern tops if the big print isn't your thing.

edit: I would have put that top in finds but I can't figure out how to do it! I will ask the teenager when they get home!

Since they have a men's wear look, go for feminine on top and maybe a wingtip oxford for shoes?

I loved Rachylou and Joy ideas. And like mixing masculine/feminine too

I would try it with sweater and/or shirt and pumps, playing with black-white-3rd color or flowery patterns; I would also try a graphic tee or casual pastel/neutral sweater with black basic flats and a colorful irreverent bag;
I would also try it with a classic simple white blouse and a black boyfriend blazer and pumps plus some eye-catchign/statement jewelry or a colorful bag.

Thanks guys! I am very timid about pattern mixing. I would tend to wear a plain navy, pink, white sweater .
if you see any examples online I would love links! I love the pants and am thrilled that they fit. (hard to find for me).

I've been tempted by those pants but wasn't sure about the fabric and fit. The Martin fit seems to have disappeared--that was the best one for me.

I love pinstripes. I wear them with just about any top and treat them like a solid.
