Help with sizing Club Monaco

I have an event in late June and I am still without a dress. I was looking at the Amalia dress online. By this size chart I should be a 4. I only have one other knit dress from CM - the cosette which is a plenty room knit shift in size small. I was wondering if anyone knew how their dresses usually run? Can I trust my usual size which is good by the chart, should I order up? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!

I think I take a Small there, it's been awhile. Their clothes fit me in the horizontal proportions but not the vertical. I need to grow another 4-6 inches.

I'd say *one of these days* but I'm pretty sure I've hit that age where I start slowly shrinking.

Maybe you could call a Club Monaco store and ask the SA if she knows how the dress runs, if it's true to size. I just ordered a skirt from CM, a 00, and it fit pretty well. My usual size is a 00, but it's not uncommon for the 00s to be too big for me. So I would say CM runs on the small side.

Shiny, I am with you! The tops at CM are the kiss of death for this short-waisted shortie.

Thanks guys!! That's really helpful to know. I bought a blazer when they first came to our mall. My husband didn't like it and I returned it the very next day. They were so nasty about the return (3 sales people and one manager) before they would credit the return. They kept insisting that I accept a store credit. Since then I have refused to enter a store and I've only bought the one dress online. They have some really nice things but I've been skittish since that incident. Thanks so much for all your help!!
