Help with shopping for men's PJ's?

I am having the hardest time finding nice quality, soft, LONG men's pajamas. A soft jersey or flannel would be great. Hubs is very tall. A 36" inseam would be fantastic. He likes the kind of pajama pants with no elastic at the ankle/hem -- just straight legged. Not really looking for sets with button-front shirts -- he wears tees for lounge and sleep -- but pants with a coordinating tee would be idea.

Any ideas or leads?

How about Boden? I know they have fantastic brushed cotton pull ins but I’m not sure about the lengths. They also sell them individually / without tops.

It doesn’t look like LIG offers talls. I don’t even bother unless they are labeled tall anymore.

LLBean all talls are sold out.

I welcome any more suggestions! Nordstrom is letting me down this year in this department. Hubs needs new sleepwear!

I found ONE color way left in the correct size in tall at LE. Hurriedly looking on their site to see if there are any more styles while I'm at it!

Hmm, some reviews on LE say that the tall sizes are not very tall.

Janet, do you have any sewing skills? Flannel PJ's are easy to run up. Making them myself has been the only way I've been able to fit the DH and DS's - who are 6ft 2in, 6ft 3in, and 6ft 4.5in respectively.

FWIW, LE has been my best source of talls (not BIG and TALL) - anywhere. Shirts with long arms and bodies, but tailored (not wide). For DS#1 and his extra long (38in) inseam, I order talls with an unfinished hem, and then hem them myself (usually with a scant 1/4in). Both DS's really liked the wool pea coats I got them many years (6?) ago. DS#1 still has his.

I don't know about pants, but Nautica is good for extra long sleeves on jackets and arms on sweaters, while maintaining a trim body shape.

Carla, my sewing skills are...well, adequate but untested. I took a little machine sewing class recently to refresh my memory on how to sew (learned in high school!) and made a passable tote bag, but I have no time to attempt such a thing in the coming weeks. Maybe someday...

I placed an order with LE for the only pair of LT flannel PJ bottoms I could find, with a LT henley. We'll see if those work! It's tough to fit a guy who is 6'6" but narrow.

I think his last pair of PJ pants were Nautica. I was just looking at some on Amazon but they're not labeled tall. I tend to have good experience with Nautica sleepwear, so I'll keep an eye out for more possibilities with them.

This is why I rarely bother trying to buy clothes as gifts for hubs!

NBA players’ jammies are probably tailor-made. They average around $8 mil/yr. I doubt they buy much off the racks. Good thing, because look at their taste when they do buy something ready to wear https://www.google.com/amp/amp.....n-rockets/

Well, I ordered a set from Jockey and a set from LE. We'll see if either or both work! J is so hard to shop for! He's one of those guys who buys himself whatever he wants, so he preempts my shopping ideas way too often.

I did order him a set of fancy Shun steak knives for all the steaks he is bringing home from TX (humble thanks to one of the steers on the ranch). I figured if we're gonna eat steak, he would appreciate doing it in style with really good cutlery.

This is the DS with the most fit problems. 6ft 4.5in - weighs 165 lbs.

Carla, I feel your pain. All three of my guys (husband and his two sons) are between 6'5.5" and 6'7" and 180-215 lbs. I'm a shorty next to them!
