Help with shoes!

Help me choose shoes for my real, not fantasy lifestyle! I'll need to use these for MOTG and commuting. I like the gold boat shoes but I'm afraid they are going to look goofy on my short wide little feet. Do any of these look ok?

I like them all, especially the two pairs of oxfords! I used to be scared of loafers and boat shoes looking weird on my (wide) feet, but you never know until you try right? My gold loafers are my fave shoes atm

My favorites are the two toned oxfords and the blue converse. The metallic oxfords could be cool, too.

Not crazy about the boat shoes but I like the rest! The gold oxfords are my favorites - not surprising since I think they're the ones that I already own in grey and will most likely duplicate very soon in the gold. Are they the Born Arlettas? Mine are super comfy and I want to wear them all the time.
Actually, if the blue sneakers are Simple Satires, then I have those too (in blue and white gingham) and do recommend them. They feel very flat (for me) but quite cushy and comfy. With my orthotic insert in them they do not feel so flat.

The gold ones are the Born Arletta's. Thinking about these. They look nice but wondering how they would fit my fat little feet. I haven't had much luck with oxfords due to the width.

It's hard to say without knowing your style, but I think I like any of the shoes except the metallic boat shoes. Those might be harder to mix and match?

Hmm, Rita, I have narrow-to-medium width feet so I think the Arlettas might not work for wide feet, especially if they are wide at the heel (in front you have more leeway because of the laces). On the other hand the leather is quite flexible and they do not bother my bunion so they might stretch enough.

I have to lobby for the Arlettas, too, although I have fairly narrow feet. They are very comfortable. These are supersoft and were the only shoes could wear when I had some bunion issues.

I actually like the gold boat shoes the best, followed by the metallic oxfords. I think they way the seaming lies on the boats shoes they won't look bad on a wider foot.

I'm with Jem. I don't know so much about the shiny shoes. I'm not feelin' the shiny, no matter what the magazines say.

I may have to get a pair of two-tone oxfords myself.

The top pair looks like my Born tennies that are really comfy. I like them all except the metallic boat shoes.

I'm for the first pair (Born Kai's right?) for MOTG, but for commuting I prefer ballet flats to oxfords, but I'm still not loving oxfords exposed. I think it's because on my huge feet they just look clownish. I think cute you could get away with them.

I like the gold oxfords best, but it will all be in the trying on, I suspect. I can never tell until I see, and more importantly, FEEL them.
