I stand 4 feet 10 inches in bare feet. (Nope, 'petite' doesn't cover it, really it doesn't --- whole other issue, that.)
Usually weigh about 56kg, but fluctuate up to two kilos a month from water retention. When unbloated, measurements look something like this: 37 for bust and bottom both, 29 for waist. My shoulders are definitely broader than average for my height. My hip might seem narrow from the measurements, but you can see from my pictures they don't actually LOOK narrow.
I seem to have a very long rise (it's a real pain finding pants that fit right in the crotch area). Very short neck. Slightly short waist. Sway back. Rounded belly that never quite flattens, not even at my lowest ever weight of 49kg, but waist while undefined, never entirely disappears (partly due to the sway back).
Large thighs and upper arms, very large ankles and wrists for my height (comparing to similar-height friends as well as mother, who is half an inch taller) --- even if I lose weight, these areas stay large. Short legs. Wide and small hands and feet (shoe size usually an US 6, but can go up due to width, depending on design).
The photos I'm linking too were actually taken at the worst of the bloat, ie, my most challenging shape to dress. (At this point my waist is possibly 30 or 31 inches, and visibly pushes out.) You'll need a password to see the album, which is 'youlookfab'. Here goes: http://photobucket.com/myshape
Now, what shape am I? (If I had to pick, I'd say primarily an apple, but am confused by my shoulders, heavy thighs and bubble butt! Am I perhaps a pear or rectangle with a secondary apple shape? Help!)
Also, any ideas on how to deal with small hands and feet vs thick wrists and ankles? I feel like my arms and especially legs sometimes look like they end in stumps, with my shoes almost disappearing under my pants!
And to any and all who reply, thanks for your time and your help!
