I bought this Monsac bag a number of years (10?) ago at a consignment shop for $20. I have been searching for the last year or so for a replacement as I'm wearing less black these days. After a couple of missteps costing several hundred dollars each, I still haven't found a replacement that I'm really happy with.
Here's what I like about the old bag:
- very smooth soft leather
- simple design
- medium size crossbody about 9" W X 11" H X 4" D
- easy in and out but still has a center zip pocket for security
- additional pockets inside for cell phone, and another zippered pocket on the back of the bag
- strap length is adjustable
- durable. The old bag has held up very well so far.
- no large logo
I'm running out of ideas where to look so any suggestions are welcome. My winter coats are a chocolate down parka and a merlot wool, and I have rain coats in a heathered charcoal grey and olive.
