Can I wear this skirt to work?

I do have the real estate to fill it out. The length would be perfect on me. It looks a little long in the picture but the description says it is 21.5 which is ideal knee length on me. I am just a little concerned about the cut outs on the rear view.

YAY - wear it to work
NAY - too vavavvoomy, look for another animal print that isn't so hiphugging

Gorgeous skirt Rita! And you would look stunning in it. I would totally wear that to work and think it's entirely appropriate. Add a lovely soft blouse and jacket, or untucked drapey top as per Angie's blog post this morning and it would look fantastic. Definitely YAY from me!

@K, the front is animal print but the back is black and it frames your rear view. That's the part that I'm afraid of...

That's the skirt that matches my silk tee.

Rita, I don't see cut-outs. I see colour blocking on the side seam. Totally work appropriate.

It seems appropriate to work.It is a beautiful skirt.
But I also see students reacting to it in a silly way.

I think it will be fine. You can debomb shell it with looser drapey tops and jackets.

It would be super super dressy at my university. As long as you aren't wearing it with a crop top or something, it isn't hoochie or too tight looking or anything. It looks very luxe and classy.

I vote Yay! I was unable to see the cut outs on the rear view as well. I think it could be paired nicely with a beige waist length blazer (leather preferred) and beige pointy toe snake skin pumps. Just my 2 cents!

I'm with Angie. I fell in love with this skirt the other day, too. Alas, out of my budget for a pencil skirt (considering I work from home and would have little occasion to wear it).
