help with choice of jacket

this is such a nice community, so i am letting myself to post again with a question: i need a light black topper, but do not know which one from attached styles to choose - trench or the other one?
this is for rainy days which are more or less all the winter we get
i was hoping for opinions

Olga, the photos are a bit small; however, what I can see, I like them both but prefer the second one - it is very classic, and the added length looks classy and adds extra protection on soggy days!

Trench may be better if you primarily use it for rainy days. But I do have a shorter quilted jacket that is very useful for those transitional days.

I definitely prefer something longer on rainy days so that I can sit down without getting wet. So I think the second one would be more practical.

i like them both, with slight prefernce for longer one.

Without seeing them on you, I like the second jacket better as a more modern look and the practicality of better coverage from the rain.

Another vote for #2, the longer length is much better for rain.
