Help with Boden jacket sizing (one of the ones featured earlier)

This jacket was featured in one of Angie's more recent posts and it's on sale!

The issue is that I'm 4-6P in US sizes and that I'm short waisted (I pretty much fit well in petite because of this; normal tops and their sleeves run too long). I believe I read that it was cropped and it also runs small, so does that I mean I should order it in size 6...or 4? (The cropped hopefully will make it so that it hits me as a normal sized jacket...since this jacket is not for petites).

I'd really like to not pay double the shipping to return it for something in my size...so has anyone else bought this jacket before?

I don't have any info on this jacket, but the last time I used the Boden site, I was delighted to find that they were one of the few retailers who gave detailed measurements of each size of the actual garment. (At least, they did for dresses.) You could probably measure jackets you already have that fit well and compare them with the measurements in Boden's listings.

Did you try the fit predictor on the Boden site? You can enter your size in a few different brands and categories (knits/jackets/pants) and it will predict a size for you. Can't vouch for the accuracy, but hopefully that in combination with the garment measurements will be helpful.

Silly me, I just scrolled down and found the specific measurements for the blazer. It's much too big.... Wonder if I'd love it enough to tailor it though...

Thanks for the help (though I didn't find the fit tool that could compare it to other brands), but this works out.
