Help! Winter wedding advice needed!

Help! I have a winter wedding to attend on Saturday and need advice about what tights, jacket/blazer and shoes I should wear with a dress I just bought! The dress is here: http://www.tkmaxx.com/view-all.....t/53005828

I love the dress...I would pair it with a black jacket...perhaps something you already have...and sparkly shoes...either a gunmetal, or silver...The dress is a statement in itself and I would fill in the chorus with what you already have...Have fun..

I like Crutcher's ideas. Since it is the holiday season, you could go with red or green for the jacket. Navy would look great too.
A nude leg or sheer black (or navy) stockings might look best on your legs. Tights seem too casual for the dress. If needed for warmth, you could wear two pair with a nude pair as the base layer.

Beautiful dress! I've also got a wedding coming up and will be wearing a grey sparkly dress, but mine is a darker gray and doesn't have beading. I'm planning on going with purple suede pointy toe pumps. Partly because they are in my closet, they fit, and I struggle with finding pumps that I can stand in and dance in. But also I think I like the additional & contrasting textural interest of suede with sparkly. Could do a pump in any color that goes with grey.

Angie suggested sparkly tights so I'm debating that. Otherwise, I'll go with simple sheers.

For bag I'm going with a metallic grey clutch. Cream would work great with your dress, to complement the pearl beading. Or bring in color with the clutch, and then keep the pumps neutral - grey or black. What color is your hair?

For jacket/blazer/topper, I haven't decided. Do you have a tuxedo jacket? I think that would totally work.

Jewelry - I'm stuck on that one myself. I'm leaning towards no jewelry, as I haven't been wearing jewelry lately anyway. What will you be doing for that?

Gorgeous dress.
I love Shiny's idea of a colored suede shoe with it.
As for jewelry, a delicate strand of freshwater pearls would be pretty. You don't need much, if any.

Beautiful dress! I would go with nude or sheer black hose.

For jewellery it depends somewhat on how you wear your hair. I'd probably go with earrings and no necklace, but my hair is short. I'd wear a bracelet and carry a clutch.

I think a tuxedo jacket would look great for a topper.

Hi! Wow thank you for all your ideas! Many of them were along the lines of what I was thinking. I was leaning towards a black blazer jacket- and in fact I do have a tuxedo style one! Also- I was thinking about black sheer tights too! I was thinking about wearing a pair of black shoes. Identical to these ones but black: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/296956169154002277/. They are suede. But do you think it will be too much black then??
I have blonde hair and was thinking of putting in up in a kind of up style bohemian bun thingy- do you get what I mean?!? Then I was planning on simply wearing some pearl studs and this amazing beautiful pearl and silver intertwined bracelet that is very simple but stunning....
What do you think?? Please be critical- I am loving all your advice!

I think you can do the black shoes but might want to add a bit of color with a clutch. The dress has such lovely detail that you don't need to add a lot. The simple pearl pieces you mentioned sound good. If you feel it is too dark, you could substitute grey sheers for the black.

The dress is beautiful.

Great advice! I just wanted to offer a couple of alternative looks, such as a cream or blush pink pashmina and grey stockings and shoes with pearls.

Mmm....lots of ideas for you. You've chosen a cute dress here. I was thinking a nude shoe and hose would also look good with your blonde hair and pearl earrings and the bracelet. I like the way nude and pearly white combine with silvery grey. An off white jacket or even your black jacket would look good on top. This is less predictable than black too. Either way, enjoy the wedding!
