Help w/ Custom Finds

I am new to all of this and need a little help. I love, love the idea and ability to create custom finds but for the life of me dont know how to take an item from online and use the "collector bookmarklet" to place it in my custom find. Obvdiously I am not tech savvy. Help?

I know we still have some work to do making this simpler, so I'm very happy to help.

Custom finds are for items that you can't find online. For items you CAN find online you can just use the bookmarklet. So there are three ways to collect an item:

click the heart on an item someone else collected online
use the bookmarklet to collect the item from a retailer website
create a custom find for items you can't find online

To use the bookmarklet, first go to this page and follow the instructions under "COLLECT ITEMS FROM ONLINE STORES" about dragging the bookmarklet into your browser's bookmarks bar (or favorites if you are using Internet Explorer).

Then when you are on a retailer's product page, you click the bookmarklet and a little window will appear that will allow you to add it to your collection.

I know this is complicated, and it is difficult to explain in words, so please ask me questions if anything needs clarifying.

Thanks Greg....the link to the "bookmarklet" was the ticket!! No wonders I didn't understand. BTW #3, create your own custom finds from photos of my personal clothing items is FABULOUS!!! I have been going crazy creating tons of custom finds and plan to use the outfit generator on a regular basis! Especially on those days my brain can't think to pull together a creative and interesting outfit for work (i.e. almost daily - hahaha).
