Help styling white jeans!

Hi everyone,
I just got these jeans, and I want to wear them for the first time tomorrow (it's supposed to be sunny). I have a meeting after work about a business idea with someone I've never met, so I want to look stylish (it's an informal, out-for-coffee meeting with a potential mentor). Help! Here's the jeans when I just popped them on this evening with a pair of woven leather cork-sole wedges:

Oh, those white jeans are great! The denim and tee layered seem too casual for me. I know it is an informal meeting, but since you'll be meeting for the first time, taking it up a notch seems more appropriate. I found these inspirational pics:

Even though yours are not skinnies, I think the vest and tank with fun bangles would still look great with your jeans.

AJ, I love both of those looks! I have a black silk blouse I can try. I don't have a vest, but it def. something I am keeping my eye out for. I'll post another pic tomorrow.

great jeans Jenava! They look great on you. I love the fresh look of white denim, and pairing them with a black silk blouse sounds perfect. Add a long necklace and you should be set

Love the suggestions from the others. I'd personally wear a black or print blouse, a piece of fun jewelry, and some sandals. If you need a top layer, a cropped denim jacket or a cropped cardigan (like Khris').
By the way, what jeans are these? They look great on you.

With this jacket as outerwear (I know - fur in Spring is probably a little weird, but I love this jacket and don't get to wear it much)

The jeans are from Gap. I got them online b/c they didn't have them in the store in Seattle. They are the Long & Lean fit.
I think I am going to have to get them taken in in the waist (a common alternation for me since I'm slightly pear shaped). They stretched a tiny bit and were already loose in the waist. They keep falling down.

I like the black with the white -- great spring combo, and makes it more smart casual than the first outfit (which was cute, but I agree a little casual for your meeting).

Well done! The jeans look wonderful and pairing them with a black top of sorts is flop proof. Adding a bright bag is flop proof too.

Oooo....like the yellow Valentino knock-off you posted in the store! I switched to my trusty Louis for this outfit, but I so wanted a yellow bag. Unfortuantely, other than my Louis, I own only bags in black, white (with gold which wouldn't have looked right), and an array of soft pinks (strangely). I *need* that yellow bag....maybe next month. Spring always makes me want to shop!

BTW, @Rute: I hope you get brave enough to try white jeans! Your gray are fabulous on you. I do love the idea of a tunic with these and the one you posted is exactly what I had in my mind's eye. I am going to keep an eye out and maybe find one on sale in a few months when our weather is warmer.

Thanks again to AJ for the suggestion. I worried that black would be too harsh with the white, but I felt very chic all day. The meeting went super awesome and my mentor is cautiously optimistic about my business idea! If I ever get it off the ground I'll let you guys know all about it.
