Help: potential look for New Year with white trousers!

I have already asked for help for a holiday look with a midi skirt which I decided to wear to a company dinner in January:

Now I need the combined YLF wisdom for a New Year dinner and dance party. As this is a dance I need an outfit with a sleeveless top and a topper I can remove for the dance (too hot).
I have decided to debut my new BR Monogram winter white trousers for this look. My mom redid the wide legs into straight ones and I like them better this way.
I have decided to go with white, black and red color scheme for this event. I have a black high-necked sleeveless top from AT. I like the combination of high neckline with pen shoulders. I have also added my big faux peal necklace to have something bright near my face. Pic 1-3 I tried this top differently: semi tuck, full tuck and untucked. Any preference here?
For a topper I tried my cream corduroy blazer. I thought it looked good in the mirror but I am not sure after seeing the pictures. Too short? Back to the drawing board?
I am pretty sure about the red shoes and this striped clutch with those trousers
I also have a black sequin top - pic 5-7 - is it better?
For those of you who knows my wardrobe - any other suggestions? As always I greatly appreciate your help and wisdom!

Both tops look great, but I like the AT top more. It emphasizes your beautiful shoulders, and I love the neckace.

With both tops, I prefer the half-tuck.

I think the cream topper is off- looks too summery, or perhaps the shape is wrong. What are your other topper options?

#1 is totally gasp worthy gorgeous and I like it with the jacket too. I like the other top too with an overall preference for the semi-tuck. HTH!

I have a brown leather blazer and taupe leather asymmetric jacket. I also have a black and white chanel-esque jacket... Maybe I should make another photo session tomorrow with them...

Sveta, my daughter happened to be looking on while I called up these photos and she and I both agree that #1 is the absolute best. Gorgeous top and necklace on you and very elegant.

I think the cream jacket is okay but I would love to see it with the Chanel-esque jacket as well. And maybe your leather one, too.

Sveta--agreeing with everyone else; number 1 is elegant and chic! As for toppers, wondered if something black might work? I skimmed a few of your posts from this time last year, and noticed a black and white chanel style jacket......any potential there?

More stunning outfits! All of these are gorgeous on you but my favorites are 1 and 5. The ones I like least are the fully tucked versions, 2 &7, and those still look wonderful. I think the jacket looks great in the photo, but I love winter white outfits. Have a great time!

First top, semi-tucked, is the top look to me! I like seeing the belt, so tucked and belted is second. Only concern is how well a semi-tuck will stay tucked when dancing...

Not sure about the necklace, personally, though --- I'd possibly prefer to see something that swings a bit lower off the neckline. But possibly this is just down to personal preference.

I'm thinking maybe leather's the way to go for a topper.

I like the first top better, either tucked or semi. The tucked looks a bit more polished to me. But, sorry, I'm not crazy about the jacket. Do you have any other options?

My favorites are #1 and #3. I don't care for any of the tucked looks. The top in #5 looks very nice too, but my preference is for the AT with your faux pearl necklace. The blazer is OK, but I would love to see your black and white blazer, and the leather ones.
Your shoes and purse are simply divine!

I don't think you can go wrong with either #1 or #5 - but have to admit I have a slight preference for #5 and the sparkly top. Those trousers are gorgeous on you Sveta!

I love sparkles during the holiday season and was sure I would like that top better when reading your post. However, after looking at the pictures, I prefer the first top with the pearl necklace. The red shoes and striped clutch are both fun additions to the outfit.

Thank you all for helping me out. Unfortunately our New Year party attendance fell through because my hubby hurt his back shoveling snow this week. Nothing serious but painful and uncomfortable enough to cancel the party for us...:-(
It will be a quiet New Year Eve at home for us... I would need to save this outfit for some other time!
