Help Needed: Which Size?

I need your opinions ladies. I bought the Levi's denim trucker jacket in an XS and S. I'm having a hard time telling which one is the "right" fit. I'm planning to wear the jacket as a topper, not as outerwear. I've taken a series of pics of both jackets worn over a dress, a tee, and a turtleneck. The XS is shown first each time. Thanks for your help!

if it's a topper than I vote XS!! - shows your shape off nicely - if it's comfy!!

Are they both comfortable? I prefer how XS looks but you need to see if it is not too tight (I had to cull my denim jacket because it was too tight to be comfortable although it looked great).

Thank you for reminding me to factor in comfort, ladies! Sometimes I get so caught up in how an item "looks" that I forget to take that into consideration. This XS is more snug than the other two XS denim jackets I tried. I've been wearing it around the house today to see how it stretches with my normal activities- will report back on whether or not it's a keeper.

XS for looks for sure. Does it have any stretch? If so, it will probably pass the comfort test. If not, maybe the S.

I like the XS for the shape. The shape is really flattering on you. Do you plan to button it at all? I guess I would do the comfort test and make sure you can button it if you ever want to wear it buttoned.

I think the XS is the safer choice, but the S is more fashionable choice.

It's funny that you mentioned that, Angie because I was wondering about that after reading your post on fall jacket trends from this past July and also reading the comments in another thread. I still haven't made up my mind. It was so much easier to fit the other two jackets I bought recently.

I am always between two sizes, so I know your dilemma. Questions:
1. When you reach up, move your arms around, etc., is the XS tight in the shoulders?
2. Can you button the XS, and do you care if you can't?
3. Can you/will you want to wear a sweater under the XS?

Now I'm going to go against the tide and say that I think the S looks better from the back. From the sides, I can barely, if at all, tell the difference. From the front, either size looks fine. I like the XS to wear with dresses, but the boxier fit of the small for everything else (and it looks good with dresses too).

As a topper, I am another XS vote. If you want an edgier fit, I think I'd go with a different jacket that is cut to be oversized.

I vote XS, but I usually like things that are fitted. Rae, however, brings up a good point.

Both are nice but XS looks a little nicer and you look happier in it. The thing is, you should be able to wear it unbottoned and buttoned if you wish and you should be able to bend and to extend your arms. Make sure that the one you keep is comfortable for you.
