Help me Wear my Christmas Gift

My sweet boyfriend gifted me with a jewelery set that is quite different from what I would have chosen for myself. I love that he picked it out for me, and I want to wear it. I will definitely break the set up as its very formal together. It's not a style or color that I would typically wear, so I need suggestions on how to encorporate these into my style. I will try the earrings with my work uniform since they are small enough that I can wear them at work. Ideas or suggestions on how to casual/boho these up or what to try them with??

Hmm, interesting question. I might take the pendant off that chain and put it on something different, maybe less fine. I have a silver collar similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/Sterlin.....TF8&a that I frequently put pendants on.

Pretty! Are the center stones red? I would wear the earrings with my hair up to showcase them, a black turtleneck, black jacket and probably light jeans and black boots.

I'd try layering the pendant/chain with a second, longer necklace. Do you have a long tassel pendant perhaps? Similarly if you have multiple holes in your ear you could try the earrings paired w something long and dangly.

Good suggestions, Diana. I don't have a tassel necklace, or multiple holes. I'm not opposed to buying a tassel necklace, though. My multiple piercings healed over many moons ago.

A feather pendant (actual feather or metal) might work too. I have a large silver feather pendant on a long chain that layers really well with shorter necklaces. Basically any sort of long, mostly vertical pendant.

I had an idea similar to Diana's. I've been into wearing a mixed set of 3 necklaces and mixing "fine" and costumer jewelry. Layering this with a silver chain and another interesting necklace could work with your style. Examples of what I'm thinking in the finds. Didn't see a good tassel or feather in my quick scan of finds, but you can get the idea :-).

This set looks like a copy of royal Kate's sapphire ring. ( search royal sapphire ring) How about wearing the pendant on a leather piece to give it a more casual look. I have seen them at places that sell parts for beading.

I'd just wear them separately when you wear shades of blue or black to keep it all tonal - just the way you like it. No need to wear dressy attire. JUST WEAR THEM.

I'm with Angie. Saw someone wear chandelier earrings with a fun sweatshirt and jeans at a Resto and it was super!

If there is space you can add a leather or other material chain so that the pendant hangs from both.

Also, possibly, hang the pendant from a choker.

I think you can wear these pieces with anything. You have a very thoughtful BF. These are beautiful, classic pieces and I think they can mix and match into any style.

I'd put the pendant on a long chain to up the boho factor, if worn alone. You could totally wear them as a whole set, tho, no chain switch, worn with a rich coloured, heavy patterned, flowy top/dress/tunic. I'm thinking paisley and dark florals and big florals (as opposed to tiny prairie florals).
