If you've been following my WIWs at all, you may have noticed that cardigans and I sort of have a hot and heavy thing going. I wear cardigans easily more than half the time, especially in the winter.

But I'm actually low on cardigans at the moment because a lot of mine have worn out. Some of my favorites that I've had for a few years literally have giant holes in the elbows! So I'm looking for a few more cardigans to see me through the rest of the season before everywhere starts selling nothing but tissue-thin pastels. I've generally gone for mid-range brands (Ann Taylor, Gap, BR, several years' worth of the Halogen merino cardigans at Nordstrom), but I'm also wondering if it would be worth it to branch out into the higher end for better quality and more interesting shapes.

I was wondering if I could tap into the collective wisdom of YLF to hear recommendations on brands or specific styles that might work.

My top three dream cardigans would probably be:
-a black one with some kind of interesting shape or detail to rotate along with my more basic black ones (I was actually considering the Sofia braided cashmere cardigan Angie posted, but it looks like it's all sold out in my size);
-something in the plum/burgundy/eggplant/cranberry range; and
-something in a warm neutral that goes well with black.

Buildwise, I'm 4'10" and a busty pear. I'm still working on how to describe my style, but I tend to be drawn to slight boho or vintage influences. Am not preppy, polished, or tailored. Also am not really avant-garde or edgy, but would maybe be open to baby steps in that direction. I'm adding a few pictures of me in some of my favorite cardigans, just to give a sense of my coloring and style.

Thanks so much for looking and for any advice you have!
