Help me to choose a tote for my sister

My sister is looking for a tote as her every day bag. She lives in Toronto and most of her clothes are in black, grey or brown. Her budget is under $200.

I've found the following ones online. What do you think? Among black, grey and brown, which color would go with her outfits the best?

I like all the bags you posted, and I think it's mostly a matter of preference.... for example I like the cross-body bag because of the strap, and I like the Via Spiga bag shape. My main thought is about the color - do you really want one of those 3 colors if she already wears them a lot? Would you consider cream or yellow or tan? Like I said, it's a personal thing, so it might not be an option.

I think that light brown or tan would work for my sister but I'm not sure if she's adventurous enough to go with yellow or other bright colors. She'd be fine with cream but I'm worried it is too light for a year-round bag especially with Toronto's long winter.

I sent these links to her, she likes the Via Spiga Talia Tote the most too. However she's a little hesitate to buy it online. She's coming to visit me after Christmas and we'll go shopping. What stores would you recommend us to hit to find similar bags?

The totes are all great. It really depends on your sisters style and preferences. I personally like the Steve Madden best and the Donati second best. Try Nordstrom and Macys stores for after Xmas bargains. They have GREAT bag selections at the prices you’re looking for. Happy shopping!

I'd recommend Nordstrom, or Macy's. Dillard's (if you have one), or J.C. Penny's too. Oh, also check out TJ Maxx or Marshall's, because I know they carry Hype bags sometimes, and you can get them on a really good deal.

Great picks! I really like the idea of a splash of colour (like the brownish red bag) with the colours your sister tends to wear, but of course that's a matter of personal preference.
