Una, I think this is a fabulous bag for you. I love it. I have added a number of clutches to my bag collection and I am really enjoying them. There is just something about a clutch that elevates an outfit and if it's convertible for practicality, so much the better.

The price is a bit steep but not outrageous at all for a nice bag and I think it is well worth it for you. Please get it!

Susie and others, do you find convertible clutches to be awkward? In other words are they neither here nor there in trying to be versatile? This one looked very natural all ways but I wonder about that issue.

On vacation, I find the pewter one indispensable. Over shoulder, cross body, clutch. I use it all ways.

Um Una, are you SERIOUSLY still on the fence about this? Because that bag is very perfectly you and I can't see how you could possibly still be undecided. Not to be pushy, but get that bag!!!

FWIW, I have a couple of convertible clutches and I love them. I use them all the time as my go to bag when I am out with my little ones because I can use the wristlet option. I find it much more convenient than having a cross body flopping around and much less conspicuous than having the cross body divide my chest, highlighting my great ahem tracts of land. But when I want the cross body option, I have it. So win-win.

The price is within a pretty typical range for a good leather bag. If you have few bags, then it is good to get as much variety as you possibly can out of them. This one is great because it gives you a lot of variety, it has a lot of presence and it seems very very you. (Haven't you had a couple of clothing DIY projects getting this same type of style?)

BTW, I have one clutch with wrist strap (and cross body strap if desired) and I LOVE it. Super useful to have that wristlet thingie when you are juggling a cocktail.

See, bags are not one of my weaknesses, so It is harder for me to spend on one even when it is a need AND even when I adore it!

After Mo's pics, I think I need one too. It feels like the perfect vacation bag.

I have a red patent clutch with about the same form factor and I find it invaluable for dressy outings. I mostly use it with the wrist loop.

Better to have one perfect bag than ten imperfect bags. I think you should get it.

I will not be the one to talk you down. But I personally would probably use it as a clutch. Nice find.
