Help me pick burgundy flats

I'm loving all this burgundy/maroon/bordeaux that's happening for fall, and I already picked up a cardigan in those colors for when it gets colder. I'm now eyeing shoes - I've got a cheapy pair of ballet flats from DSW that are burgundy that I'm finding really nice in outfits. But they are definitely unsupportive shoes and I'd like to trade up.

I like the sleekness of the Rockport Adelyns, but I always find Born brand to be sooooo comfortable. I agree with chewyspagetti -- you might want to order both to see which pair feels best on your feet.

The Rockport are more sleek and classic, the Born have more details. Which are you looking for?
And ordering both and deciding in IRL is always good.

I agree that ordering and seeing what fits best is a good idea. I do prefer the look of the Rockport ones though.

I think I like the pointed toe on the Rockports for you. The design of the Børns has a kind of artsy, twee look to it that I don't associate with your style.

ETA: I just searched for images of the Børn ones styled, and they look like knockoffs of the Chloé flats, which have been worn by all sorts of non-twee celebrities, so I must be wrong. I think it comes down to comfort and your style preference.

Børns look like they have a low cut toe opening, which might negate other comfortable qualities, depending on how they fit you. I prefer the pointed toe of the Rockport if they are comfy, since it helps the bottom of an outfit look structured to me.
