Help me pick animal print flats please

On last year fall's list I had a pair of animal print flats that I never filled for various reasons.
I want to be able to wear them with pants(both bootcuts and skinnies) and with skirts.

My first impulse is to buy this:

But I don't know if this might scream old fashioned.

But should I try something more on trend like this:

Would this kind of shoe look good with skirts and bootcuts being a flat?

I am totally shoe impared so I would appreciate the help.

Btw DH would hate any of those which I find it funny

I have a pair of Me Too pointy leopard flats and I'm not wild about the way they look with bootcuts. In fact, I'm not wild about the way any of my flats with bootcuts--the jeans seem to need a bit of heel to lie right (but that might just be me).

I really like the slipper flats because they're trending right now, so they get my vote.

I prefer the second shoe becaues the higher vamp is more "on trend" right now. I'm not a big fan of pointy flat shoes with boothcuts, I prefer a small heel with bootcuts.

Pointy flats and slipper flats are both on trend so you can't go wrong with either. Do you have a pair of slipper flats? If not, that might one way to bring in both elements.
Thanks for sharing link - I am thinking about replacing my round toe leopard print ballet flats (they were a very inexpensive way to try the look and I like it!).

I like the second pair because of the higher vamp. I have been looking at them also and cant decide between them and Angie's VC flats. I will been watching this post.

Thank you for your advice. You made me wonder why do I feel I need to have a shoe that works both with bootcuts and skinnies and the truth is that I don't.

Just one more question: would the slipper flats look good with skirts?
I love the ones that Angie has but I really wanted a leopard print.

YES. Slipper flats with skirts looks very *new* to me right now. And Angie is doing it of course so that makes it more than okay!

Both are adorable and would work, IMO. It's all about which is more comfortable, and that is so personal, and you won't know without ordering and trying them out! My feet are wide around the toes so likely the first ones would not work. But you never know. Without trying them on for size. Good luck!

Celia I like both pairs of flats. I think it really depends on what it going to work best for you. My only comment is that I find ballet flats look a bit odd with bootcut jeans. But I am not sure the slipper flats would work any better? Could you order both and try them on with your outfits and see which is going to be more versatile for you?
