OK, if you write it all up, will you please post it so we can copy and paste to our computers. (why reinvent the wheel?)

I'm not sure if someone already mentioned this, but this Evian spray is AMAZING for travel. It keeps you looking fresh and its been a staple for years. They make a travel size in case you would like it in your carry-on or purse, which I recommend since flying can make your skin look so ratchet! Have a BLAST I am so jealous!

Here's a link for it on Sephora:

How fun! I live at 7,900 ft and my essentials would be:

Sunscreen (a fancy expensive moisturizing one if you have it), hairspray or shine spray or product for hair static, chapstick (the petroleum kind with SPF, or perhaps the little pots of vaseline lip therapy- natural oil ones will literally dry off your lips), dryer sheets to rub on clothing that is static-y, and sunglasses.

It's too late to get a flu shot -- takes 2 weeks for full immunity to kick in. Also, you can shed for a few days right after the shot, so if you are leaving soon, you could spread it to others. And, your arm may end up being sore! Mine was bruised and sore for about a week.

I just came back from a business trip and I think I packed well for it -- there were items I didn't wind up wearing, but I'm glad I had them as options. Just a few things that I have added to my standard packing list for future:

1) Feminine hygiene products!! It wasn't that TOM at all, but ... yeah. There is just something about air travel that seems to mess up one's cycle! Is it the change in air pressure? Or exposure to female traveler's hormones? I dunno. Such items can be expensive in hotels, and you don't want to ruin your vacation having to hunt down a drugstore. So bring some, just in case!!

2) A clean cloth handkerchief, for use if you need to iron anything. Don't trust the hotel iron no matter how high end the place is. Last thing you need is to ruin one of your favorite items because the iron hadn't been properly cleaned.

3) Didn't need it this trip, since I wore socks the whole time, but if some of your footwear involves bare legs/feet, then definitely bring some bandaids just in case. And it does not hurt to bring a pair of thongs. I have had vacations ruined because of feet swelling + blister issues that were bad enough, I couldn't get even my wide-width pumps and flats on my feet.

4) I also always travel with a small bulb syringe because cabin air pressure seems to clog my darn ears.

5) Pashmina to wear on the plane -- and wrap around your face in case anyone on the plane is coughing and sick.

Have fun!

Wow, lots of great ideas here. My addition is: stop at a bank and get yourself stocked with some fives, tens, and ones. In the age of the ATM, no one ever has anything but twenties, and you just seem to need small bills (mainly for tipping) when you travel.

More wisdom! Yes, I never seem to have cash of any kind on me these days.

I got a flu shot back in October! Phew.

1) alcohol. Serious, our taxes are ridiculous Or buy at the package store which is hidden away on an alley. Used to close at 7 pm. TGTheyNowTakeCredit cards. There's a reason why we liberalized our liquor laws-because before the Olympics it was a CASH (after you blew yer wad buying burgers on the mtn).
2) room in suitcase to take back alcohol. If sis can get a slot at High Counrty Distillery, grab it. One of our best restaurants in the state lately. Even if you can't get in, stop by for adult bev!! They are doing remarkable stuff. Five wives vodka, not a vodka drinker, seems a bit gimmicky to me, but HC rye, Cannot go wrong.

Black is the new black. Everybody local knows you aren't from here. The NYC types know you aren't from there. Does anyone else notice? No they are lokking for Brangelina. Is your Sis showing in SLC? Eat at Faustina $$ or Finca (loud, $$). Or Sea Salt Italian $$. Or the place that starts with Zy, on State st.
