Anne, your outfits look amazing in every picture, I would be reluctant to make changes to improve looks, but if something about the function is not working than perhaps a change is warranted. I wore Skirtsports skirts exclusively when I ran and trained for marathons. They have amazing durability and IMO are both flattering and comfortable. The skirts worked well for me but not others because the fabric from the skirt could blow up while running if the fit was too loose. I eventually added bike short style running leggings to my gear when I realized they were attached underneath my skirts, and essentially made them function successfully. I used them when I wanted a more streamlined outfit with less “drag” from the wind. Classic running shorts caused chafing on my muscular thighs during long runs.....
For me the success of a running outfit is its function before its form. Does anything chafe? Does anything ride up or feel uncomfortable. Flat lock served seams, and seamless items are always best and soft non scratchy fabrics, etc. I ran with a team and I noted that we were superstitious about making changes to our gear once we had found something that worked well, regardless of its appearance. Sorry if I am not helpful here....
