Help me get over shoe heartbreak...?

Sorry to be so dramatic, but I seriously fell in love with the Matisse Nugent Booties that Angie showed on the how to wear animal print post :

I ordered them straight away- but they are too small. (I wear a size 10.5-11, and the largest they seem to come is 10, so I definitely did a wishful-thinking purchase, knowing how easy it is to return w/. Zappos ..). Have any of you seen something similar out there? What I love about this boot is the wedge, the lower heel height (only 2-2.5"), and the pointed toe. While I do LOVE the leopard print, I would go with other colors, prints, etc.

Although I am a stickler for proper fit, I also know how it feels to love a shoe. How small are they? If they are just a tiny bit small, throw on some thick socks and tromp around your home in them. Or you can possibly have them stretched if the sock trick doesn't work.

Thanks DressLover, I sure am tempted to do anything to get them to fit- I haven't returned them yet.. but for the price, I really want to feel as good in this shoe as they look, so I don't want to settle for a case of fabulitous and wear too-tight shoes..:)

So sorry it didn't work out. Believe me, I know what it is like to grieve over a pair of shoes. You'll find the right one eventually. Don't settle... it will be blind love for a while until reality sets in and you realize how much your feet hurt when you wear them.

Thanks Queen Mum.. ya I have wasted too much $ settling in the past..:)
I swear not to do that anymore but it is difficult b/c there is a serious lack of cute shoes that are made in size 11!! One way to look at it is that having large feet is good for my budget..

I know the feeling -- I ordered a totally fab pair of black and white wedges at the beginning of the summer with high hopes, only to have them dashed when the left shoe was definitely too tight for comfort (my left foot is slightly larger than my right). The shoes only came in full sizes, not half, so sizing up left way too much room in the right shoe. Alas, they were not meant to be.

I'm sorry that they didn't work out, Rose. I have the Matisse Nugents and they definitely run small and narrower on the toe box, and snug on the ankle - which is why I did not generally recommend them. They are a typical Brazilian shoe in fit.

I was just going to mention the Sam Edelmans, or the Aerosole Patrole if you don't mind the heel. I have been stalking some leopard booties too and not sure which to choose. I was going to go with the Aerosoles until I saw the Matisse ones in Angie's post!
