Help me find waxed denim

I lurve waxed or coated denim, but I don't love when the finish fades off, unevenly and after Just a few washes. Has anybody had any luck with brands of waxed denim?

Don't know. I may be trying a pair of waxed ponte - maybe better?

I got some waxed / coated black jeans from Madewell last year that I'm very fond of. They have a nice leather look to them and are very comfortable. They do really well with sweaters because of,that shiny element they add to the look. However, I have only sponge cleaned or lint brushed them.

You could be right Una, I had a pair of 7FAM where the finish lasted nearly until the pants fell apart.

I remember Goldenpig rewaxed her jeans and it failed miserably because it attracted tons of lint.

I have a pair of Citizens of Humanity coated skinnies ("Racer" is the style name) that feel great, almost like leggings. The fabric is quite thick and stretchy. I've worn them eight times according to my spreadsheet, and they are still in great shape. The only downside is that they are handwash only, which is a pain. But they don't show dirt bad, so I can get away with three wearings between washings. They were expensive...I think they retail for $230, but I got mine on an end-of-season sale for $150.
