Help me find tops to wear with skinnies...

I am so frustrated with shopping for tops to look good with skinnies. I am a tad hippy and I prefer the look of a tunic with skinnies or longer cardi. Either that or something more figure balancing. I've been looking for some tops like the MOTG top in suggestion #2, the one with the skinnies and boots. It's cold, so I need long sleeves and I don't really like prints. I much prefer solid basic colored tops. I like to get my prints in my scarves. I've seen some things from Coldwater creek, but most are a bit too dressy for my MOTG lifestyle. I do almost all my shopping online because our shopping mall is an hour away and that doesn't mesh with 4 kids-2 that are preschool age. Can anyone help?

I love the flowy styles of tunic-styled tops from yesstyle.com; it's kind of asian flare though, don't know if you may be into that

How about a boyfriend oxford button down? I recently bought this in the men's dept in a small size at Target.

Check at Penney's. Seriously - I did a search for tunics in the women's section and found quite a few, and I also recently bought one there that I have been wearing non-stop. It's a nice simple grey striped drapey long-sleeved v-neck tunic with pockets, and it was dirt cheap too! Here are others I liked:

This leopard one Zara has in other colors: I bought in black and it's lovely it works very well with skinnies!

I found some tops at JJill too, but I've never bought from them before. Good quality? I am so leary of buying things with no reviews.

The only stores we have around here that I can try things on are Kohl's, Target, Old Navy and Gap. I've been striking out with those stores. Most of the things I've bought from those stores looks good on the rack, but the fit is less than perfect and it wears out fast. I'm a horrible bargain hunter and I tend to "stock-up" when I find something that fits well. That's probably not exactly a very fashionable thing to do, but I like to keep it no brainer in the morning.

I am constantly on the hunt for tops to wear with skinnies! I am actually considering the striped tunic in Angie's store. The price is holding me back so I am hunting around for a comparable style.

Cillena - I also find it difficult to find just the right tunic for skinnies. My go-to look with skinnies this year has been some kind of blouse/knit top, this boyfriend sweater from Nordstrom's, and tall boots. I went up a size, because on me, it was snug. I either wear it buttoned up all the way, or open.
