Hi Fabbers,
I have this white and blue floral sheath:

I'm planning to wear it for a special occasion and get some pointy toe pumps to wear with it (probably the Ivanka Trump indico pumps that Kkards suggested on another thread). I have some blue cardigans that sorta look okay with the dress, but it would be nice to have something a bit more modern. Cardigans can look too matronly on me and a moto would be quite a stretch and not the right look for the occasion I think. Blazers are too formal for the event, too. A linen jacket would be just right, if I could find it! (Also I generally need petites).

What about a denim jacket (white or blue) or this?

Thank you Marmee. I don't know if a denim jacket would work for the occasion or not, need to check, but I like the blazer you linked to, and it hadn't come up in my searches yet. Still searching, but saving the link.

I like Marmee's idea of a white denim jacket, but maybe a collarless one with minimal details to keep it a little dressier. I did an image search and found this old sold-out Banana Republic topper - something along those lines would work well, I think.

Or for a different look, you could get a longer white coat that's the length of the sheath dress.

I have something similar to this one that I would wear with the dress. Mine is the same manufacturer. I've had it for years and still love it. Not sure if they have a petite line though.

Thanks Grayscale; I was thinking along the same lines, a collarless one might work, and thanks for the idea of wearing a white coat the same length as the dress. That had not occurred to me at all but it appealing. Thanks Kkards for the links, that's a possibility. I'm going to order those shoes as soon as I can, hope they stay in stock a bit longer!
