Help me find the perfect cardigan

I own one but it is on its last legs. It is:

100% Silk knit
V-neck
Cropped (longer is fine too)
Fitted
3/4 length sleeves (full length is fine too)
No pockets, dangling ties or other embellishments

Believe it or not, I bought it from Ann Taylor Loft in 2004 or 2005.

I'm not so happy with the Halogen girlfriend cardigans I bought at NAS. The pocket bulk is getting on my nerves and I feel the length makes me look frumpy. If I could find an alternative, I'd return the red one that hasn't been worn yet.

If anyone has come across my dream cardigan in their shopping expeditions, please do share. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Wintersilk: http://www.wintersilk.com/
The quality is good, but they tend towards classic and might not be that fashion forward. Their stuff lasts for years and looks very classy.

Are you looking for silk knit specifically? They are not silk but I have several from NY and company that have held up well. They have cropped and longer versions as well as long and 3/4 length sleeves.

Thanks RunnerChick. I did try looking at Wintersilk, but all their cardigans are silk blends. Also, their fits tend to be boxy on me.

Thanks for the pointer Kathy. The Semi-Sheer Striped V-Neck Cardigans look like exactly what I want except that they're rayon. I am dead set on 100% silk because my old one has lasted me 7-8 years. I have bought cotton/blend/wool cardigans in the past but they never hold up for more than 2 years.

That's ok. Just to let you know, I have several cardigans from there that have held up for many years (at least 3-4 years). I tried googling silk cardigans and came up with nothing good (I am having a s l o w day!). Will keep my eyes open for you though.
