help me find pointy toe navy pumps; eta ? for Kkards

Hi Fabbers,

I don't have any pumps at the moment and thought I'd like to try the pointy toe trend with some navy or dark blue pumps. I'm hoping to spend less than 100, but we'll see. They can have a heel of 2 1/2 inches but not higher. They can have a strap; I like the look of the okalas except I'd prefer a thinner strap. They can have straps or not. I'd like a refined look to them; I might use them at a retirement ceremony for my husband. I will be in important pictures and sometimes will need to carry a child that day, so they can't be too precarious, but I would so love to have a bit of a heel for once. I expect I'll have to do some walking that day. I don't mind cutouts but don't want anything peeptoe-ish. I learned a lesson last year when I wore some cute navy peep toe wedges at a wedding and had to change into decidedly worn and unflattering flats after the pictures, because it was too painful to carry my baby in them. Anyone have some pointy pumps they love or any suggestions?

Thanks for all the links, Adorkable. The first two you linked two are especially appealing because I do generally prefer an almond toe; I think I'll keep looking for something pointier this time though. It's good to know all of those options were comfortable. I think the fitzwell dora pump you linked might be my favorite for the color and shape of the shoe, so I'm saving this idea. Thanks.

These have small heels. I ordered the yellow version but need a half size larger than my usual size. The heels are stacked wood tone.

The ones that Angie loves: Bella Vita Wow. They come in a zillion colours, including navy. Affordable, and for Angie, super comfortable. Not too high a heel. Yet refined.

if you are ok with fabric, i really like these, and i'm thinking of getting them myself. i have seen this IRL, and they have a rich elegant feeling, but the heel is not high and they are balanced well so that they are comfortable and easy to walk in. (and on sale)

Kkards, those are gorgeous! I'm very tempted by those (I love stuff with embroidery on it) and I'm saving this idea to mull over for a bit until there's an opening in the budget. I'll share what I decide on Inge, thanks again for your help!

I'd recommend taking a gander at these. They have a lower walkable heel (2.5 inches), come in navy and are leather. The price point can't be beat and in my past experience both of these brands (Calvin Klein and Nine West) are of pretty decent quality for the price. Plus, with Zappos, if they don't work for you its super easy to return:

Kkards, if you see this, did you think the indico navy eyelet pumps ran large? It says so on the page. I normally wear a 7, so wasn't sure if I should try a 6.5. Of all the great shoes on this thread, these are the ones I keep thinking about and coming back to.

Columbine , I thought they ran TTS, but I only tried on one shoe, I'm a 6 and that was the floor sample. If you order from Nordies it's free shipping, so if you have time, there no issue with ordering one size and then exchanging if needed.
