I just spent last evening and this morning scouring Angie`s site for a shoe that, in my mind`s eye, appeared on her blog.

I remember it as a gorgeous darker tan (maybe even brown or less red cognac) leather slingback with pointy toe, lower square vamp, and lower block heel.

Likely culprits for its classic shape include Talbots, Naturalizer, J Crew—but I didn`t find it there. Boden has something close; I forgot to check Ralph Lauren. The quality reminded me of Sarah Flint, but I don`t think it was at that price. I didn`t have a need when I saw it, but of course, now I do.
