Help me decide: black or Coral

S my top today is going in the donate pile. As such, I want to replace it with a new top and I think this is the one:

Should I go with the black or the coral? Before YLF, i would have just bought the black and white one. but many have commented on how i look better in color. I love them both, but they modeled the coral on a woman with dark hair and a deep skin tone. The black one they modeled on a woman with my hair and skin coloring. Makes me think I should go with the black . . .

They are not available within a 100 mile radius of me, so I can't compare in person.

This is hard because both look good. What will you wear on the bottom? All things being equal, I think I'd like the coral on you best.

My first thought was coral if only for something different. It would look nice with your denim jeans too.

I like them both. Coral is a pretty color and usually very flattering for different skin tones. Black and white is such crisp and graphic effect.
Can you get both and compare which one plays better with your stuff?

I think I prefer the coral in this case. You seem to have a lot of black in your closet and this would add a summery color and would go well with black bottoms, as well as other neutrals such as white or tan.

Another vote for coral. I think it would look beautiful with your white bottoms.

I was all set to say coral and I think it would be a great choice. But this particular black and white print would be so useful. And there's enough white in it that it wouldn't be very dark. I vote order both and see.

I really like the coral top - but I think coral is a very difficult color to wear - not quite pink, not quite peach - is it salmon? or a shade of orange? - is it a warm color (I think it is!) or a cool color? And, I don't think its a very flattering color on a lot of people. So - I'd probably order them both and check them out IRL!

Is this a casual top or a work top (or both)? The coral while pretty reads casual to me. The black is crisp and sharp looking and may be a little more versatile:).

I like them both, but for you maybe the black and white would be the better choice. It's a very nice print and I think you would get s lot of wear out of it.
The coral is lovely too but very summery, and I don't think summer is your dominant season, right ?

I think the coral top would be beautiful on you, but as Deborah said it reads as more casual. The black top i great too - maybe both?

I love the coral and get tired of black, as you might too, but I'm thinking the black would be sharper on you. The coral might wash you out.
