Help me debate these similar shoes

I who have never been drawn to a "nude" shoe, ever, now find myself gazing at the following pairs.

I would love to hear your thoughts on these. I know you'll have had experiences that will provide valuable input.

Keep in mind: my feet are incredibly fussy and my ankles are very skinny. Feet not wide but must accommodate a bunion.

The contenders:

Rose Gold Corso Comos: http://www.zappos.com/corso-co.....-silk-calf (trying very hard not to be swayed by the gorgeousness of the phrase "rose gold silk calf.")

Warm Sand BCBGenerations: http://www.zappos.com/bcbgener.....-warm-sand (Note: "warm" anything is usually not good on my skin.)

Hi April! Well, they have to be comfortable, right? I think the uppers of the Comos look the softest and the most stretchable to accommodate the bunion, as long as you don't need the sole to be harder are more supportive. I'm not sure the patent Ninas would stretch at all. For style, I love the last pair, the BCBGenerations. The warm sand does not look all that warm to me. I'd give them a shot. Can you order two or all three to try them at home?

Hmmm, I am uncertain if any of these would be kind to a bunion. I will leave that to others.

Style wise, I like the Ninas best followed closely by the BCBGs. Of course, that means nothing if they are uncomfortable.

As far as fitting your ankle, I think you would have to try them all and see. That is the tricky bit with the ankle strap. But most straps are adjustable, it is just a question of how much.

I think you're simply going to have to try them all on to see which (if any) work. Impossible to say.

(As I have learned to my chagrin. I just ordered a pair of pale gold sandals from Land's End, of all places. They were on for a ridiculously low sale price and looked perfect for my needs. Plus, like the Corso Comos, they had a high amount of elastic in them, so I figured the fit would be easy. Alas....I was wrong. Despite the elastic, they kept slipping off my narrow heel, so they need to go back, and this costs me a shipping fee.)

Luckily -- you don't have to worry about the shipping fees. So I say order and try!

Yes, you should order all three pairs and see how they fit. However, I prefer the first and third. I didn't care for the look of the elastic on the second pair.

I like the first and the third ones as well in just look. As far as bunions go, goodness, I hate mine on my left foot, and I love pretty flats, what I've discovered is that the shorter the toe box for the foot, the more flexibility you have to stretch the shoe. You want your bunion to be at kinda the bend point of the shoe where there's a little more natural flexibility. Your mileage may vary.

Ok, I didn't look at any other replies until I made my mind up and I really like the first and third examples, with minor preference for the third as I too am concerned about the firmness of the patent leather. The silver detail on the third one is attractive too. Ah, and I've just noticed Mia said BCBG can be stiff? As I'm not familiar with the brand I can't comment, so really I've gone on appearance.

I think the BCBG Tilda's are most on-trend, the Nina's the most *fashion advanced,* and like the Corso's for their quirkyness (but they are super and strictly casual shoes in my mind).

Re. accommodating a bunion - I know this problem well. Like Suz, I suspect there's nothing for it but to try. I could see all of them hitting in just the wrong spot...

I think the Corso Como will be the most comfy, but I like the look of the BCBG best of the three.

I really like the 1st and 3rd pair but #2 may be best for your comfort.
