I had a similar experience when shopping for specs last year. I liked a purple pair and DH liked a burgundy pair. Very subtle difference in the shapes. I got both. Now I prefer the burgundy pair too. I couldn't see the subtle but important difference he was seeing at the time. Both work for you but I think #2 will work better with your prints.

I like both, and I think in the long run you won't be disappointed with either of them. I've ended up with two pairs for myself, one subtle and one more funky. If I could only keep one pair, it'd be the more subdued pair, but I get tons of compliments on the bolder ones. That's not really a verdict, is it? I also sometimes find it hard to wear things I like when I know DH and DS dislike a certain piece or like a different version better; just being aware of that makes me second-guess myself every time I put it on! So I'd say "go with your gut" but I know it's not always that simple.

I like them both so am no help!!

#1 is striking and would be my choice because I like glasses to make a statement. La Ped’s advice really resonates with me, especially if your DH dislikes #1 as opposed to preferring #2.

it's difficult to choose as they are both great and can have different uses!

I like 2 for the sunglasses but would like 1 more for regular glasses I think!
