We are attending an afternoon wedding in September (spring here). This is the dress I want to wear. I only have the cream/nude shoes that can possibly work. I tried to book-end(?) it with the pearls, but is that enough?
I tried the brown shoes on, just to see what a darker colour would look like. (They are winter shoes and won't be appropriate.) Is the colour better though? Not sure if it is clear in the photos, but the background of the dress is charcoal and not black.
I don't really want to spend money on a new pair of shoes that I will potentially not wear again soon, but if the cream ones are an absolute no-no, I will go and look for something else. Any suggestions?
(The dress needs ironing...)
