Help me choose shoes for a blue dress - DECISION MADE :)

Hi all! I need your help choosing shoes and a bag for this weekend. My baby cousin is getting married!! I can't believe it! I remember when he was born! About the dress... it is not up for K/R, I am in love with it. Sorry if it offends anyone with how short and tight it is! I am 5' tall AND it is a Russian restaurant party, so short and tight is not only appropriate but expected.

I am considering two pairs of shoes, Kate Spade Licorice Pumps and Glint Devyn Sandals. The Glint sandals are very marginally more comfortable, but I think the Kate Spades would be more practical as I think I would actually wear them again.

Which ones do you think look best with the dress?
YAY) Kate Spade Licorice Pumps (1-3)
NAY) Glint Devyn Rhinestone Sandals (4-7)

I'm alone here, but from one Russian to another, I think I like the Glint sandals better for a Russian party! I like the extra glitz.

And I don't find the dress too short or too tight? It actually looks very beautiful! Love the color, the one shoulder sexiness and the ruffled fabness!

Alright so my initial gut instinct to go simple and sleek with this dress is in line with most YLF'ers thoughts.

Marianna, Echo and Deborah, I had second thoughts because of the lack of sparkle, that's why I ordered the rhinestone bag and shoes... I am torn...

If you go with the KS pumps, then I vote for the rhinestone clutch, so you have that extra bit of glitz for the party. Best of both worlds.

I like #6. I think the dress just calls for bling. I think some bling at the neckline wouldn't be out of place either...

Wow, you look great! I love the pumps and prefer them to sandals. I think they will end up being more versatile as well. However, for your Russian family, which I remember from your previous posts, you need something blingy.
how about some chandelier rhinestone earrings? They would go with your hairstyle.

I'm no help - I like both. I' ma sucker for sparkles so I'd tend that way except the shoes are also shiny (and more "practical")

For anyone who has been following my bag post http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....st-1047792 - here is a quick update on the shoe question. It has been very nice to see some votes for both!

My mother in law - the one who made the call about the bigger bag - said the pumps are more elegant and the sandals are stumpifying (my word, not hers). So, pumps and giant clutch it is!
