Help me choose a color for my new backpack? ETA I ordered one!

I have this backpack in black and after six years of constant use it is on its last legs. I really want to have the same one again, I just like the way it works both for taking just the bare minimum with me and holding lots of stuff.

I'm just not sure what color to get. The black was really practical because it looked good with all my outerwear no matter what, but I'm a bit bored by it now.

What color would you get if you were me?

Seems like I'm breaking SYC then. Oh well. But I need a backpack without holes for my two upcoming trips!

Thanks Rute. Nightblue was also my first thought! Neutral but not black. I love the pine green too, I'm just not sure it would go so well with all the greens I love to wear lately.

If you want more color, I love Baltic Blue! If you want it more neutral, the Basalt is nice. The Nightblue is a good combo of color and neutral.

I also like the pine green, night blue and baltic blue for you, Astrid. I personally really like different shades of green together, so that wouldn't be an issue for me.

Let us know which colour you go for?
(Oh: I think replacing items that have worn out is perfectly acceptable while on SYC:-)

Thanks Raisin! The basalt might look nice, but it depends if it is more of a taupe or more of a beige IRL. I agree that the baltic blue looks great! It's a lot of color though, I'm not sure I wouldn't get tired of it fast.

Thanks Inge! I'm not a big fan of warm and cool greens together, to me it always looks a bit off. Although the pine green is georgeous! I'll let you know when I order. Oh and thanks for your SYC comment, I hadn't thought of it that way.

I just had another look at the night blue because it would be a great neutral, but I don't like that the straps on the side are light blue instad of dark. My sister has the same one from a while ago and hers has black straps.

After the nightblue is out I'm thinking either the basalt, the pine green or the ebony glencheck. I'm going to think on it some more. Sadly I don't really have a gut feeling I could go with...

Thanks Lyn and Amy! I've just ordered a color that never came up, the ensign glencheck, pictured below. The ebony glencheck turned out to look not that great from the side (because the pattern was just in the front), I found some pictures on another website. The pine green was already sold out yesterday morning when I looked and I just wasn't sure about the basalt, it might have been much too beige IRL. I think this one's a nice blue and I do like the subtle overall pattern. I just hope it looks just as nice IRL. I'm going to post some pics when it arrives.
