I've been loving my new cognac purse.

Now I want some boots to coordinate.

I tried these on last year and can't get them out of my mind.

All 3 have the same heel and footbed and I've tried two of the three pair so I know they'll fit. Now it's just a matter of choosing which pair to get.

Which do you like better and why??

The first two look best to me. The first pair is sleeker and dressier, the second is a bit more casual. Depends on how you plan to wear your pants with them (the second could be tough with rolled hems). If it were me I would go with the first pair; had the shaft of the second been higher I might go that way :}

I have one pair of Pikolinos and find them very comfortable. I like the first pair best, but as Aida said, it depends how you want to wear them. All look attractive. I would also go with the lowest heel for comfort and stability.

I like #3 best. Has a plainer more versatile look, and seems to be a bit taller. I have some wedge boots with about a 5 inch shaft. Last winter they seemed a bit awkward with pants lengths, but now that Angie has shown us how to wear the taller shaft boots I can't wait to wear mine. And am looking for another pair this height that are not wedge. Also looking for cognac or a rich brown color as opposed to black. cognac is a good choice -goes with so much and I wear my tall cognac boots with black.

I like 1 or 3. Might depend on calf gif and if you want the higher shaft look.

I like the buckle detail and the gradation in colour of Number 2, although they are more casual than Number 1 & 3. It depends on what you want to wear them with.

I like no 1 and 2. I am a buckle fan. How do you plan to wear them? If they are strictly for wearing with jeans and pants I would lean towards no 2 because I like this slightly chunkier look. If you want to wear them with dresses and skirts also I would lean towards no 1 because they have a more delicate appearance. No 1 seems more versatile.

I like 3 best. I am not a fan of buckles, and would even prefer three better without the "weaving" at the top, thoughI like that just fine. My eye too has been going to a higher shaft (was thrilled to see Angie's bootie post as I've been scouring the web for higher shaft booties for several months. They're kinda hard to find! Hoping more will show up now that it is actually fall. I like a sleeker bootie, so 3 for me.

I would choose 1. Dressy yet versatile, you can pair those boots with ANYTHING. Like I told you earlier, I love #2 as well.....very cool design. But like Aida, I wish the shaft was just a twee bit higher.

I like 1 and 3. I prefer less detail on a shorter boot. the third pair looks a bit taller and that could help if you plan to wear cropped pants with them.

I vote #1! Beautiful color, good heel height and interesting details. I think you'd get a lot of wear out of them. Which ones do you feel the most drawn to? I'm a big fan of going with your gut

Thanks to everyone for weighing in.

The original ones I keep chasing are number 2 but harder to find in the rich cognac color. I came across number 1 in the store yesterday and was surprised when I really liked them. They do seem more refined. I like them a lot. My only hesitation was that number 2 has a higher shaft and actually fits me - a small miracle - so thinking of Angie's notes on higher shafts being more in style it gave me a dilemma. But to be honest I really think 1 will work well for me and I like that they're refined with nothing on the front of the boot thus elongating the lines. Plus if they end up being that great I can seek out pair 2 in a different color that's easier to find

I like buckles, so 2 speaks to me, plus I like how the straps seem to cut across the foot on an angle. I think that adds an interesting detail.
But 1 is a great sleek looking boot, so you couldn't go wrong with it.
I have a pair of Pikolonos moto style boots that have seen heavy wear for 2 seasons and still look like new. It's a good brand.
