I've been having so much fun wearing my red jeans (color! casual! fun!) that when I saw this pair of green paisley jeans in the same style on ridiculous sale, I fell down at the cash register, swiped a card and coupon and well, they ended up in my bag.

I tried them on at home and I like the fit. I'm going out to a family dinner tonight and it's pouring cats and dogs. I'll have a short walk from car to restaurant, so no need to worry too much about mobility.

Here's what I'm planning on wearing:

1) Jeans
2) Grey denim shirt
3) Grey ankle boots (I guess I'm giving in and keeping these even though they have closures on top of the zip)
4) Maroon moto (which I'll take off indoors)

I think I'd wear a garnet necklace with it to add some color to what is otherwise a very neutral outfit.

Any suggestions? I'm finding the jeans really look best with neutral or more muted colors. I tried them with some of my black and bright colored tops and they didn't work.
