help! i just bought a pewter handbag

It seems neutral and I liked it but are metallics out for autumn/fall?
I haven't noticed... I got it for half price at Nordys
The color does not look at all like the picture. The picture looks bright and white but it's actually dark metallic.

I hope not because I just bought a pewter Nine West crossbody myself! In my personal opinion, it adds a touch of 'bling' without going overboard crazy.

I purchased a pewter handbag for fall and winter. I thought it would be a nice neutral and look fab with my purple velvet coat.

I like the bag you've chosen. Like Mo said, it's a striking piece but certainly not overwhelming!!

Metallics may come and go as "it items" but they can't really go way out of style because they're considered a neutral. Especially pewter! Enjoy your awesome bag proudly.

I'm really really into gunmetal metallic right now. I couldn't stop myself from buying this yesterday.

congrats!!! treat as any leather...use the tones to match or contrast with your outfit. that bag is a great sub for a dark brown or dark grey leather bag.

I figured mine would always play off my love of silver jewelry and tendencies toward hardware details on shoes etc. So I guess I didn't consider the 'in' factor as much as how I'd love it for myself It's serendipitious when what you already like becomes 'in'!!

I have some pewter shoes that see a lot of use in the fall. If they were brighter, I would tend to think of them as more spring/summer, but they don't have too much sheen and seem perfect with the darker, more muted tones I tend toward this time of year.
