Hello ladies,
I am looking for advice on some accessories and a sweater/blazer to wear with the dress I chose to wear to a wedding this summer.

I do like yellow with the dress but I think my yellow sweater is not polished enough to work. Perhaps a new yellow sweater.

I was looking at a couple of things I found at Ricki's online this morning. I am going there later today.

I did a see a bracelet, looks like it will compliment the necklace I am thinking about wearing.

I have also found a clutch purse that may work as well.

I am open to all suggestions and comments. Please disregard the mess in the background and my hair.

I wanted to pick up the yellow in the dress. I have included a picture of the things I am considering.

The dress, sandals and shoes I already have. I do like the oatmeal cardigan, but will it wash the dress out?

I found a yellow blazer online but it may not be available in the store. It is sold out online.

would you consider a yellow silk shawl? The sweater proportions seem right but the texture might be a bit much for me.

You will probably just need to try these on with the dress because it's hard to tell what it will look like. The crochet cardi and blazer both look promising. The bracelet and clutch look like they would work in well with the dress.

I agree with Joy about the crochet cardigan and jacket, and trying them on. Sometimes weights of fabrics interact in ways you can't anticipate. I like the color of the yellow cardigan but I feel like the fabric and the dress fabric are dragging on each other and that the necklines are fighting each other.
I really like the idea of the crochet cardigan or bag, although not both at the same time, and I don't think either would wash out the dress especially with your polished nails, etc.

I'm thinking the topper should be quite simple to set off the details in your dress and accessories. How about a bolero or shrug? Yellow may be the best colour, but you could also try sea foam or blush. That's a very cute bag!

I like yellow on you and with the dress, if you can find something that you feel most comfortable in. I like the softer texture of a shawl, or knit cardigan, or the crochet cardigan you pictured, more than a blazer for that dress. I like the necklace you chose, too.

I'm excited to see what you end up with.

And I love your casual hair just the way it is. It feels authentic to me, and a loose style will fit the vibe of the dress on the day.
