Help a Blind Lady Out with These Colours?

Hi Folks,

In case I've never mentioned it here before, I have a bit of a love affair with Eileen Fisher clothes.

Anyway, I'm interested in these pants but all the colour names are more poetic than descriptive. As the subject line says, I'm blind so I can't see the pictures.

What colours do these pants come in? I'm guessing that stone is some kind of grey, and "misty lilac" is some kind of purple, but beyond that I have no clue. :-p

Hi Robin!

- Reef is a deep teal
- Coriander is a mid toned yellowish olive green
- Stone is a midtoned cool neutral grey
- Berry is a raspberry color
- Misty lilac is a light purple — not pinkish.

All the colors are appealing, depending on your preferred palette. Tonally the teal is darkest, and my personal favorite. EF does nice color selections — I’m always a little sad their styles don’t suit me. Hope that helps!

Ok, this is fun to try to describe. Please, I will take no offense if others have better descriptions than I do.

Coriander looks like a warm olive to me, with a fair amount of yellow in the greenish olive.

Stone is in fact a gray color. It it not overly light in a way that would show every mark, but neither is it dark.

Reef is a rich teal color, with a lot of color saturation.

Berry is a reddish color, not in a warm like wine color. But more of a hue lighter than raspberry.

Misty lilac is a purple color that is another not too light, not too dark color. It does not skew pink the way I sometimes think of lilac.

I will look to others to add more descriptions. Truly, they are lovely colors. If you like warm colors, I'd consider the coriander. The rest look more cool toned to me. The reef is the darkest color and the stone is the most neutral.

Excellent decision, Robin! You might need to have the pants shortened a little more so that you don't trip over the hems. Love that you got the matching top!

You can wear the reef (teal) with your black, navy, white, pink and purple tops.
