Help -- Which Grey Jeans

I have been hanging on to these pictures for a few weeks; usually I can come to my own decision but I'm stuck, I need your help.

I am on the hunt for the perfect grey jeans. I want them fairly dark with some vertical fading at the thighs. I would prefer jeans to leggings in terms of fit (fitted but not like super tight). What do you think of these? I am going to reserve my own opinion for a while.

Pair A -- Have only a front picture
Pair B -- Shown in pictures 2 and 3
Pair C -- Shown in pictures 4 and 5 (these are actually silver coated skinnies)

Hmm, that's a tough one. Pair C comes across as too tight because of the creasing across the crotch and the back thighs. It probably is caused by the stiff fabric, but it looks tight.

Pairs A and B look similar in fit, but B fits your description of the wash you're looking for better.

Pair C has too much horizontal creasing going on. I tried some jeans that did that, and I couldn't figure out why . I tried one pair in multiple sizes, and whether they were too small, too big, or just right they got those horizontal creases.

A is better than C, but I don't like the fit as well as B.

I'm with Queen Mum. Like B, A is not bad. C, not so much. They don't seem to fit as well.

I prefer the fit of B, and those jeans fit your color requirements, but I quite like the lighter color of A on you. Big help, I know. C, no; too much vertical creasing front and back.

Just wanted to add that I think silver coated skinnies would be a great idea for you- but maybe a different pair?

B as an immediate first choice, but C, without the creasing, is interesting due to the coating. Still, I vote B.

Hmmm. I think B is the one that I like the best, but I hate to say, I'm not sure that any of the three are really hitting the ball out of the park for me. But please, take that with a grain of salt! I have been trying to buy a pair of purple skinny skinny jeans now for a couple of months and have had zero luck. I've taken about 8 pairs back. I think my eye just isn't loving the creasing that I get on the super skinnies. I think that's what I'm not loving on any of these three of yours either.

Maybe I've got a poisoned eye? :-/

(And I know! Don't I suck? Especially after all the awesome help you gave me earlier today. One of those jackets is jetting its way to me as I write....)

I like the colour of C - but the fit of B.
B seems to fit the best - colouring is difficult to tell in a photo. There's something about the colour of C that adds a spark to you.

I vote B, because it looks to have the best crotch fit (least creasing). C is really cool but I can't get over the mucho creases.

I love B and that would be my choice, BUT I also really like the coated ones:)

I like the middle pair best because they look the loosest. If you could size up on the coated pair, those could be cool?

Order of preference: B, A, and C. C looks cool, but the fit does not seem to be working. Is it the stiffness of the fabric?

Pair A = Paige, the ones on sale at NAS.
Pair B = AG from Shopbop
Pair C = Rock & Republic from Kohl's. The cheapest pair. Around $50.

Pair B are actually the snuggest of all three. It's interesting because apparently they do not look as snug as pair C which actually *feel* less tight than the other two.

C, maybe the stiffness is the issue, the might soften up...anyone else know from experience?

I wonder if the sheen on C is throwing off the appearance vs. actual feel. Do they photograph much shinier than they look in person?

What was your gut feeling on which was best?

K -- none of these are quite doing it for me. I do love the way the AGs look from behind, but am concerned that this kind of suction legging jeans (like a compression garment, almost) will not be comfortable *for me.* I cannot tolerate even light shaping panties, they give me a stomach ache.

The Kohl's Rock and Republics are almost there but the fit is off, on me. I will try sizing up on them though. But I'm kind of doubting these will work for me.

Good news, tonight I stopped by TJ Maxx and look at these. Supremely comfortable, no pulling, and only $16.99. I am sure they will bag out terribly, but I am keeping them. These are from a brand called Indigo Rein, probably a private label for TJs.

I see what people are saying about C but I'm on team back & they look best at the back, though you only showed B not A at back. I guess B is best at front but I like A at front too.
