Thanks! I am loving the practicality of having a watch, especially a white watch with an easy-to-read face. My old silver watch had a metallic face and silver hands without numbers, so it was a little hard to read in dim lighting. The other day I was walking to work in the snow and wanted to see how I was doing on time, and it was *so* much easier not to have to drag out my cell phone as I'm used to doing!
Becky, I used to never leave the house without a watch either. These things become such a force of habit. Until the last few years I had a permanent "tan line" from constantly wearing my watch.
Sarah, you have such spectacular style, so I'm thrilled to be your watch twin! The version with crystals around the side is pretty too, but just didn't seem to suit my style as much as the plainer version.
Sihaya, great suggestion! (Changing out batteries is such a pain.)
Teri, your watch face is gorgeous. What a sweet gift and a great memory!
(The funny thing is that when I showed my mom this watch years ago, she wasn't crazy about it - she said today that it really grew on her over time after her eye adjusted to the more oversized "boyfriend"-style watches.)
