I like to think of myself as up to date on denim, but can you believe I've never heard of this brand? I liked the "about" page of their website but don't agree that really fitted ankles are a bad/unflattering design choice. I find that fuller ankles for skinny or straight leg jeans, because they bunch on me, shorten my legs. The folds form between my ankle and calf and create a visual break that is not leg lengthening.
Their slim bootcut design looks nice though. Assuming the legs fall properly over your shoes avoiding the leg shortening bunching and folds.
I still love 7FAM jeans, they come in all sorts of styles. I buy mine from the dedicated 7FAM stores due to the personnel expertise. I also recently have acquired some Paige jeans and Rag and Bone denim. Very happy with fit and comfort.
I have some older True Religion jeans that I wear for work (my work is the opposite of yours, I dress to get dirty). Still very pleased with their fit. I cannot say the same about J Brand nor Current Elliot nor Earnest Sewn. Not every brand works for every body.
