A small but welcome update to my shoe wardrobe today: I bought a pair of blue pointy toe wedges (#1), which will replace a pair of navy suede ballet flats (#2). I also have black leather ballet flats, and I find I rarely wear any of them. I needed a shoe with a low heel that can be comfy for several hours, and these will mix & match nicely with most pants and skirts/dresses in my wardrobe.
They have 1 1/2" heels, and are more refined than my other flats, but not too dressy. I hope I will be wearing them a lot. The little heel and the pointy toe are hopefully a better choice with longer skirts and cropped pants than ballet flats. The old flats will be donated to my daughters
This is my only purchase during the final end of season-sale this year (patting myself on the back). I got them at half price, which was a good buy - but now I really don't need much else from the S/S collections. May I stay strong!
