Hi everyone! I just found YLF and have been poring over all of Angie's blog posts for the past few days (needless to say I haven't gotten through them all!). The info and advice here is just fantastic.

Here's my first question, and it's a big one: I know I desperately need to make over and update my style (especially my work style), but where and how do I start?

I just purged my closet of everything that was old/unflattering/stretched or worn out. Now I have about 5 pairs of black pants, 2 cardigans, one sleeveless blouse, and 3 dresses. Plus a bunch of random t-shirts and stuff that's not work-appropriate.

The irony? I work in a fashion and beauty-centric business, but I feel clueless about clothes. A bit about me: I'm 38, married with a 15-month-old daughter, and I work full time. In terms of style, I'd say I gravitate toward modern classic; I'm a pear body shape (5'6", about 150 lbs).

I would welcome any and all advice on how to start figuring out how to make myself over and acquiring great clothes that make me look, well, FAB and feel confident. Can't wait to hear what you have to say!

Lisa
