Heels that work with jeans

Hello!
I'm wondering if you think the t-strap heels (shown in my finds, below) will work with jeans? Or are they too formal? I would be wearing them with boxy silk tops and hi-low t-shirts. I really love the cow skin texture.

Also, do you think the cowskin shoes and the woven shoes are different enough to have both in a single wardrobe?

Agree with Sharan, yes and yes. The t-strap pumps would be particularly good with cropped or rolled jeans to show off the little strap. And the woven ones are a very different texture; they have the feel of a more casual summer shoe compared with the first.

Ok, this is great to hear.
I tend to think everything is formal and then end up with everything very casual, and that's not the direction I want to go in.

Yes and yes, if you wear lots of heels. I have three pairs of black heels, one stiletto, one peeptoe with a chunkier heel, and one Mary Jane ( not so keen on them but they have a place).

For me heels are not worn daily, but I love having four or five pairs to choose from for occasions and the odd work day.

Yes, kiwigal, I will wear heels daily to work. I currently do not have any pumps, just a pair of strappy wedges and ballet flats, so the addition of a couple of pairs of heels would be good--a big style boost.

I think the t-strap will look super cute with a rolled up or a cropped jean. I'm not sure about the traditional pumps. I think it would help to see how you or the other thumbs upppers here would style it? I'm worried you'll end up on the "trying too hard" end of heels + jeans look unless you can pull it off like Elin Kling. (That is not intended as a reflection of your styling skills, smittie, just a general statement

And, yes, imho, those are two completely different pairs of shoes

Annabelle- are traditional pumps "out" or something? Is it the lack of ankle strap that makes you think they might look "trying too hard"?

I would style it with rolled jeans, and maybe the sweater below.

Hey, smittie - I know I'm going against the grain with those here who are overwhelmingly Yes + Yes, but for me, regular pumps might look too dated, too "mom," or too ordinary unless they are 4" or you are super hot like Elin (haha), relative to the ankle strap casuals. Pumps to me says pencil skirt, unless they are styled just so. I know I'm in the minority, here, but the city girl in me is coming out.

Yes to both. I love the t-strap shoes. They are pretty and playful. The pumps with gorgeous texture are classic and dressy. They can serve different functions in your wardrobe. Plus, a girl always need variety
